natural household stuff

heres some natural  household cleaners... I forgot where I got them from but thought would post them

  Oven Cleaner.

    ½ cup baking soda.
    ½ cup liquid Castile soap.
    7 drops lemon essential oil.
    7 drops eucalyptus essential oil.
    5 drops lavender essential oil.
    1 cup of hot water.
Preheat oven to 225 degrees F, then turn off and leave door open. Combine all the ingredients and pour into a spray bottle. Shake well and spray on oven walls and door, wait for 20 minutes, wipe off, and repeat if necessary.

    Kitchen Sink Scrub.

    ½ cup baking soda.
    1/8 cup white vinegar.
    5 drops lemon essential oil.
    5 drops orange essential oil.
Mix all the ingredients and scrub metal sink using a green scrub pad.

    Bath Tub and Shower Scrub.

    ½ cup baking soda.
10 drops tea tree oil essential oil.
    10 drops lavender essential oil.
Mix all ingredients and use to scrub the tub and tiles with a green scrub  pad. This mixture will prevent mold and mildew buildup. If the areas are covered by hard to get off mildew use tea tree oil and water in a spray bottle. Spray over the area every day for a week, then twice a week.

    Vacuum Cleaner Deodorizer.

Moisten 3 cotton balls in lavender essential oil and place them in a vacuum cleaner bag to scent the carpets and the air.

    Dishwashing Detergent.

Buy a bottle of castile soap.
Add 10 drops of lemon essential oil.
    10 drops lavender essential oil.
    10 drops orange essential oil.
    Shake well before using.

    Natural disinfectant.

    5 drops lavender essential oil.
    5 drops lemon essential oil.
    5 drops orange essential oil.
    5 drops eucalyptus essential oil.
5 drops tea tree essential oil.
Add oils to a small spray bottle with water. Use it to wipe and disinfect counter tops, tables, stoves.

    Closet deodorizer and moths repellent.

Moist a few cotton balls with cedarwood essential oil, eucalyptus essential oil, and pine essential oil. Place the cotton balls in drawers and shelves. This keeps the bugs out and your closet smells like cedar.

    Insect repellent.

    10 drops eucalyptus essential oil.
    5 drops cedarwood essential oil.
    5 drops sandalwood oil.
    5 drops peppermint essential oil.
    2 ounces of Vodka.
    5 drops of geranium oil.
Mix all ingredients in a dark glass bottle and use as needed. However, keep away from mouth and eyes, essential oils are powerful and vodka has alcohol in it which can be very annoying if sprayed in someone’s mouth or eyes.

    Glass Cleaner.

    Mix the following:
10 drops of grapefruit essential oil.
10 drops of lemon essential oil.
2 cups of lavender or rubbing alcohol.
    1 cup of white vinegar.
How to use: Put all ingredients in a spray bottle and use with paper towel or scrunch up newspaper. It will create a delightful scent in your house when the sun shine warms up your windows.

    Floor Cleaner and Polisher.

In bucket full with hot water place:
20 drops of eucalyptus essential oil.
    20 drops lemon essential oil.
    2 cups of white vinegar.
    1/4 cup of castile soap.
This mixture is great for linoleum, tile and wood floors.
