MM everyone, since Fire told about her town, I thought that I'd mention some places in FL.
everyone knows about these places but in any case... St. Augustine is haunted (no way! lol) there are too many to post here so I'll just tell my expirence...
It was my second date with hubby, and we did the ghost walk. I honestly didn't think that I'd see anything, even though I have had encounters w/ spirits before. Well, we were at Tolomato Cemetary and the guide was talking about a little boy that is buried in there...all of a sudden i look up into the ancient oak trees and there he is. (about this time i was playing w/ my tongue ring) and he stuck his tongue out at me as if to ask, what is that growth on your tongue. lol
Now, I live in Daytona and have been going to St Augustine for years, and this is the first time that i ever saw a spirit there. And it figures that it had to happen when I'm still trying to make a good impression on this cute guy that i'm out with. lol
Another place that is supposed to be haunted is Cassadega. I've never personally encountered any spirits there, but I don't like the feeling i get when i drive through the town.
One place that you won't find on any 'haunted places' map, is my father-in-laws property. i was walking around trying to catch my breath after just getting married, and all of a sudden, this voice speaks to me, "you are very lucky, i was killed on my wedding day" i was freaked. i asked why...he told me that his brother was having an affair w/ his bride and they deciede to get rid of him so they could get together. yeah. what a thing to hear on your wedding day. but, he seemed nice and left after that.
Thank you for sharing Kelly. And the wedding spirit, I am just glad he was nice is all, but then again, how is it that he is nice if he has to freak out a new bride. Thats just bad forum lol
LOL, tell me about it...but with the expirence i had w/ my mom's house having spirits you would have thought i wouldn't have freaked but the last thing i thought i'd see on my wedding day was a spirit. after the reception, i took a piece of cake back to that spot and left it there for him. he didn't say anything else to me, but i had this sense of peace and that was all the thanks i needed. what an eventful day!
