Ok, Kelly, I know you were going to do this, but heck..I was already here.
Folks....Kelly's husband was in a serious car wreck yesterday. He sustained serious head injuries, chest injuries, and broken bones. Docs didn't expect him to make it through the night. But he did, and he needs all the thoughts, prayers, and energies we can muster. Personally, I feel we need to focus on the head injury as it "feels" to be the most important injury at this time. We need the swelling to go down...drastically.
Keep him in your thoughts people. We all know him as MJ. Let's help him get better so Kelly can get him home sooner.
Thanks.
Heidi

i can't tell you all enough how much i love you and how much everything you do means to us.
i came home tonight at midnight. mj's nurse called me and told me to come back to the hosp. on my way there, i called dave and heidi and told them what was going on. what happened was mj's left eye was dilated twice the size it normally was,and was showing no reaction to the light, and that is usually indicitave of something bad going on in his brain. we were there for 2 hours and finally, had a little hope. the eye showed minute response to the light, which means that he was stable, and was just a little baby step closer to where he was before i left.
on my way back home, at 4am, i called dave and heidi again, to let them know what was going on.
everyone that is involved in CEPF, i love you. thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of the support that you have been sending.
Kelly, I just got the word on this, thanks to an email from Rev. Dave and Heidi.
Please know that my thoughts and prayers for you and for MJ are joined with everyone else's here.
Blessed be, Silverweb

today was alot better. he was the same today, as he was yesterday before i left the hosp. the first time.
the doc's expect him to open his eyes in the next few days. i believe that he'll be in ICU for atleast till the end of the month, and i don't know how long in the hosp. after that. he'll have to undergo reconstructive surgeries. and they will most likely have to rebrake his collar bone to set it right.
but believe me when i say that MJ will be coming home. he has NO OTHER OPTION!!!!!
i love each and everyone of you. cherie, thank you! noni, thank you! heidi and dave, thank you and the board looks beautimus!!!
everyone else that is sending energy and prayers, i'm sending them right back to you!!!!!!! i know that right now, i can't do much, but if any of you need help, PLEASE let me know.
That's wonderful news, Kelly, that MJ is holding his own! Please keep us posted as you're able.
Be sure to take care of yourself, too, and get as much rest as you can. Thoughts and prayers continue to flow your way.
Blessed be, Silverweb

my dr. was yelling at me yesterday because of how i looked and how i wasn't taking care of myself. that's why he gave me the ativan.
mj's dad seems to think that cause i have insomnia, i don't NEED sleep. he and i are gonna go round before all this is over. i understand that he's stressing out...but he needs to remember that i am too.
ANYWAY..... i haven't gone in today...our friend, who happens to be a lawyer, told me that he didn't want me at the hosp. for more than 8 hours at a clip, w/ atleast 8 off. and since he's a lawyer...i'm gonna listen. it won't help MJ if i end up in a bed right next to him!
but he's still doing good, i called a few minutes ago and they were working on him, either dyalisis or just the assessments. but i'm gonna call back again in a few more minutes.
everyone at home is doing ok. i was so close to cracking yesterday, it was scary. but i had some good sleep and feel normal. well, as normal as i ever was
thank you all for everything. i keep saying it because i really do mean it, and it's truly appreciated!!!
yep you need to take care of u too ....I had avitan before... I know its hard to rest when somethings bothering you but... is best ... will keep you still in my thoughts n prayers...

i`m glad u got something to help u sleep kelly, u need to. love and blessings to u both , and thanks for taking the time to keep everyone posted on mj`s condition, love ya kelly
he's still doing good. he has pneumonia, which was expected. so they are treating it. his night nurse, bill, told me that when he gets the trach tube put in, he'll be having surgery VERY soon. so, i'm actually looking forward to seeing that tube in his throat. freaky sounding huh?
Noni, everyone has alot invested in MJ, in my opinion, it would be rude of me to not keep you posted on what's going on, when i can. besides, it lets me share the good news with so many wonderful people!!!
Dave and Heidi, sorry for not beeping ya'll and keeping ya up to date. i'll do better,i promise lol
Yeah, I figured he'd develope pneumonia. Seems like everyone that goes through a serious trauma does. Well, better that, I guess, than a nasty secondary infection.
Glad to hear he's still doing well.

glad hes doing better... *S* sorry been away from online for a few days but back now thanks for keeping us updated.. will continue to pray and send energies to him and you and all who need them. BB
ok, shamless, i know...but i'm not running this auction. lol
obviously, this is about MJ. and i'll tell you where the money will go. in my pocket, to be used for the kids. i'm not asking anyone to bid. i'm not begging either. but, maybe you all know someone that's into this stuff.
********update********
MJ may have his surgery tomorrow. i'll find out when they tell me. if not tomorrrow, then sometime this week. he has an infection, which is another thing they expected, but kinda forgot to tell me about it. but they are taking care of it.
he'll have the trach tube tomorrow...'specially if they do the surgery.
ohhhh.....ativan kicked in.... will post more tomorrow
ok, so if there aren't any emergencies tomorrow, MJ will have surgery at 3 30pm. they are going to put the trach tube in, and work on his face. his mouth will be wired shut for a while to give his pallet time to heal.
his nurse told him to open his eyes tonight....and he DID!!!!! just a little bit, but hey, it's something!!!!!
when i get home tomorrow night, i'll let everyone know how he's doing. i'm off to bed now!
This is really good news! Everyone keep sending him all the energy we can muster. Hopefully he'll be awake very soon!
