A chill breeze is drifting through the window of my heart, the one that you left open when you departed; I still dream of you, usually you're closing the window.

I heard crickets dance a venereous waltz, echoing in the black tendril of shadowed crevice. Lecherous adventurers in the darkness of pitch, offering a lover's dance interrupted only by the shuffling of feet.. A momentary lull, while faceted eyes stare with reposefu...

This was passed to me by a friend. She is a remarkable person to say the least. When she sent this to me, she told me of how it made her realize that the world seems to slip by without our notice. I am hoping that after you read this, you too will take the time to smell a rose, enjoy a sunset o...

Traditional Halloween Witch? Each year they parade her about, the traditional Halloween Witch. Misshapen green face, stringy scraps of hair, and a toothless mouth beneath her deformed nose. Gnarled knobby fingers twisted into a claw protracting from a bent and twisted torso tha...

To this we decree... There are times the heart must heal, the mind release, and the soul ascend. Tomorrow is not another day, but another way. Into the past we may flee, to face the sorrows we have seen. In time we fragment, a divided being. The illusion of it's passage, a lie with no meaning. T...

Be Free The smile in your voice saddens me. You come to me with your good news, And nervous about what I might say. What choice do I have? I set you free. No longer anchored, I float away. No longer a safe harbour is mine. I waited too long and you are gone, Having found a love to satisfy. We were good for...

The Victorious Shadows, black as night, Roll across your face. I wait in vain for you to awake, Knowing not where to turn. Shadows, dark and cold, Fill my heart with fear. I am lost and alone without you, Wandering without direction. Why have the gods...

I Choose - What About You I am so tired. I am so very tired. I try to regain my energy, and fail. I feel like I am standing on a ledge, Standing over a bottomless pit. Why am I here? What is there more for me to learn? Why must each lesson cause pain? Why can I not find peace? If not within, at least wi...

The Choice is Yours Speech quivers on my lips, But I keep silent. Tears quiver on my lashes, But my cheeks stay dry. Emotions tumble through my heart, But my walls hide the pain. I will not ask you to stay. I will not ask you to go. You must decide where you belong. You must...

I Feel You I can see you when I close my eyes. I can sense the truth and see through your lies. I can feel you near me, I can smell you. I can hear you. I look around and you are gone.
