Hark Hark! (big long ramble)

Okay I really don't know what that meant, but, eh...

Anyway. I'm not very new to the forum, but I haven't introduced myself yet, so I figured I'd get that out of the way.

I am Angela Englund, Liason Officer for Oregon. W00t!

You can call me Angela. Or... Xeentar has been my offical net name since '97, but people started calling me Xeeny, Xeent, Xeen, Xee and X. So those are all suitible also.

Esuisha came from the fact that I was being paranoid about something and I used some random name generator, came up with something similar, tweaked it, and it just attatched to me, like it was meant to be me. But Xeen is still attatched to me too, so recently I started calling myself Esuisha Xeen. So if you see an Esuisha or Xeen anywhere, it's me.

I don't know if it's a good habit or something I should break, but I do like tweaking things to make them my own. I do that with a lot of things. And sometimes it's not a matter of tweaking, it's more like getting inspired. Anyway...

I've been with this nutjob place since... um... August or some such? I dunno, I'm not good at keeping track of this human thing called "time".

I'm... Eclectic. Eclectic Pagan, mostly, but lately I've been happy with calling myself just plain Eclectic, 'cause that's what I am. I have a very open mind and I like to look at things at different perspectives. It's always possible, ya know.

I don't believe everything I see and hear. There is something that I've always known, ever since I was a kid, and recently I found a quote by the Buddah that explains my mindset perfectly:

“Believe nothing, no matter where you read it or who has said it, not even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.” – Buddha

I can't stress this enough. And nobody can put it any better than that.

I won't put someone down for anything they believe, though sometimes I will look at them oddly. That's not a bad thing though, that's just me trying to comprehend what they've told me :-p

I have been 'pagan' for a few years now. If you want to get non-technicle, I think I've been pagan for many many many years. I was a Christian in High School, though I never quite fit in there. I liked the fellowship of the 2 youth groups aand 2, sometimes 3 church services I attended each week, but it just didn't fit me.

I've been reading and researching pagan and pagan related things off and on for several years, even when I was a Christian. I don't recognize any particular diety, but I KNOW there's something out there. I got a 'sign' once, and I refuse to ignore it... heh...

Did I mention I like to ramble? Alot? About anything? I don't talk a whole lot in person, but I can go on and on online...

Did I mention I'm absolutely addicted to the 'net? Yeeup. I'm addicted and I really truely honestly don't like being addicted like this. I love online gaming and offline computer gaming. And I love firefox, which I just recently learned a firefox is actually a type of -panda- called a red panda. It looks fox-like though. Amazing, eh?

I also love building webpages. I'm pretty good at it, too. Well, used to be. I'm a tad bit out of practice since I became so busy with stuff. I love doing webpages. I love making graphics. I love tweaking them all. I love coding and scripts. In my opinion, webpaging goes hand in hand with interior decorating. I have a good eye for design and colors and all sorts of stuff. Sometimes I'm so artistic, it hurts. You wouldn't understand it unless you... understood it. Yeah.

Speaking of foxes, didja know that they're more closely related to cats, rather than dogs?

Did I mention I love animals? Right now I am owned by 1 cat, 1 hamster and 1 rat. There are 3 other cats floating around but they own other humans at my place of dwelling.

Rats make excellent companions, despite popular belief that they're icky, slimey, mean and desease carrying. I could go on and on about rats, but I'll resist.

I also love to write. Especially poetry. I don't do as much poetry as I used to, but this month (being November of -04, the year of Someone), I'm writing a novel. NaNoWriMo.org. It'll all make sense.

I love creating. I can be very organized when I want to, and I've always got tons of ideas and creative energy. I spend some nights wide awake, thinking on a project that I'll never start.

One said project is to start a DECENT pet store. Not with pets, but with connections to get pets. I'd like it to be an education center. Let's say you come in and you want to get some rats. No problem. I'd love to consult with you on rats and rat care. I'll make sure, first off, that you'd be a suitable rat mommy and or daddy, that you have the time and space and love enough to care for them. Then I'll figure out if you'd rather have a boy, or a girl, and tell you that you should get at LEAST 2 of each. Then I'll show you to some proper caging, proper food, proper toys. I'd have note cards attatched to every shelf explaining the best use of each product. I've got more, but I digress.

Told ya this was a big long ramble. If you're still reading this, remember, you're responsible, not me ^-^

I also love to draw. I don't do that nearly as much as I used to, just like poetry, but I hope to change that soon. That's something I spent a whole night on trying to figure out.

Oh, and I'm a furry. If you don't know what that means, you might not want to know. If you know what that means only because you watched the CSI episode or something else on TV... PLLEEEEAAAAAAASE forget it all! You know how a channel might do a show on Witchcraft or such and totally botch it? It happens to us furries, too.

I have tons of interest, which I've already meantioned. But I'm very varied. I'm a Gemini, after all :) I love reading, writing, art, music, designing things, belly dancing, yoga, sword fighting, getting up in the mountains, meditation (I suck, but I try), sewing, crafting... iieee! So many things.

But, enough about me. What about you guys? I'd like to become more familiar with my fellow LOs and partners-in-paganism. As you can tell, I'm pretty comfortable with rambling about myself, so do whatever works best for you, eh?
