My first experience was when I lived in England and I was over at a friends house and they were going to go to a gathering and I got invited. I was enthralled, being only 8 or 9 at the time, at the chants and everything else going on.  It was about three years later that I started investigating on my own.  My parents actually helped me because most store clerks and even librarians would try to restrict my access to book and materials about Paganism of any form.

i started on this path when i was about 13-15 yrs. old.  i picked up a book at the library on voodoo.  i was always interested in that.  but what really got my attention was 'The Rites of Odin'  that was the first norse book i ever read and i loved the way it was written. plain simple terms. and the way it explained every ritual.  lol, i still list that book as my most favorite pagan reading material!!!
