To keep dogs out of your garden, stomp mothballs into the dirt around it
To keep cats out, put ginger around it
I told my dad about this and he said the moth balls don't work... but maybe they do in some cases. And I'm nor sure about how you're supposed to use the ginger... powedered, full peices, or plant it there? Apparently cats don't like the smell.

to keep deer out of the garden, go to your local barber/hair place, and get some hair....spread it around the perimeters of the garden. deer will leave your plants alone. this is supposed to work on rabbits too.
a good way to keep aphids off roses is just to throw some soapy water over them , keeps the insects away and dosent harm the roses.and no nasty pesticides
