Spicy Green Tea

Ingredients


  • 1 cup milk (soy milk will work well too)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 green tea bags
Directions:
In medium saucepan, heat the water and milk until they JUST begin to gently boil. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 3 minutes. Remove tea bags and strain, then serve.

It is very, very good. I don't have particular reasons for drinking it, its just good.

This would make about 2 cups of tea, right?

Yes, pretty sure, two servings with this one. I'm glad everyone likes these, I love teas, herbal goodies and food recipes...I will post a lot more if you're interested.

Yes, I've very interested. I love teas. I just haven't tried anything like this before.
